Subject Classes

Taught by Specialists

Subject Classes in First to Eighth Grade, round out the curriculum.

With regular lessons in practical arts, visual arts, movement, music and foreign language – all using the Waldorf methods of lifetime application – students develop their own unique capacities.

Subject Teachers

While Main Lesson with the Class Teacher provides in-depth exploration of subjects in blocks of four to six weeks, subject classes run through the year. Subject teachers, who are specialist in their fields, generally see kids across the grades, twice a week, over the course of several years. This strengthens the student-teacher bond, and provides another source of support for our students, in addition to the Class Teacher.
