Kindergarten
The City of Lakes Waldorf School Kindergarten program is a rare gem in the Twin Cities. With ample outdoor time, robust movement, a fully-integrated creative experience and meaningful work and play, our Kindergarteners learn by doing.
We offer two Kindergarten programs, with slightly different schedules, at our Whittier and Loring Park locations. All City of Lakes Waldorf School Kindergarten classes offer a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum rooted in experiential learning and the creative arts. Our experienced staff brings a solid program, built over time, and a deep knowledge of the young child.

Our Whittier Campus Kindergarten program includes a full park morning weekly, plus plenty of outdoor time on our natural space – more than any other area school – rain, shine, or snow!

Parents are asked to bring a lunch for their child, and the school provides an organic, nutritious snack, which is often prepared with the help of the Kindergarten students.
